- Diuretics, B-blockers, ACEi & Calcium-channel blockers stop for 2 weeks + aldosterone antagonists (e.g. spironolactone, oestrogens) stop 6 weeks prior. Adequate Na/K in diet. Sample must be IMMEDIATELY hand delivered to the laboratory.
