Test information: Quadruple test for second trimester Down's syndrome screening for singleton and twin pregnancies. Samples can be taken between 14+2 weeks to 20+0 weeks, with the best time being 16 weeks gestation. The special QUAD test request form must be completed to ensure Newcastle (where we send the sample) have all the information they require to produce the risk.

- Testing can be performed between 14+2 weeks to 20+0 weeks, with the best time being 16 weeks gestation. Samples must be delivered to the laboratory the same or next day. Do not take on a Friday afternoon unless can guarantee delivery to the laboratory the same day. Please fully complete the special QUAD form and submit with the sample.
